Frequenty Asked Questions - Tools

I have a list of genomic coordinates from the previous assembly of maize, AGPv2. How can I get the coordinates in the current assembly, AGPv3?

You can map genomic coordinates from AGPv2 to AGPv3 (or vice versa) using our Assembly converter under ┬┤Tools┬┤. The accepted file formats are GFF, GTF, BED and PSL. In addition to maize, the assembly converter is also available for Saccharomyces cerevisiae in Ensembl Fungi, where you can map old coordinates in the previous assembly EF2 to the current assembly Sac_Cec_April2011.
